Questions? Answers.
Is Music2gether free?
Yes. Creating a lobby, inviting friends and listening together is free and needs no account.
Do my friends need a YouTube or SoundCloud account?
No. Music plays through the official embedded YouTube and SoundCloud players, which work without logging in.
How does syncing work?
Our server keeps the lobby's play position and a shared clock. Each browser checks itself against it every second and seeks back into line if it drifts.
Why won't some tracks play?
Uploaders can turn off playback on other websites. When a track can't be embedded, we tell you straight away so you can pick another link.
What happens to a lobby when everyone leaves?
It waits 15 minutes in case you come back. After that, the lobby, its queue and its code are deleted.
Why would I create an account?
Only if you want to keep playlists. An account lets you save a queue and add the whole thing to any future lobby in one click.
Your friends are one code away.
No downloads, no accounts, no ads between songs.
